About Katie

Marathon runner, Ironman, Triathlete.

Growing up in rural Wales, sport and adventure is in my veins. I am passionate about pushing limits, but at the same time maintaining a happy and healthy lifestyle for my clients.

I’ve always enjoyed Sport, but was also middle of the pack! Having two brothers and living in rural North Wales meant my weekends revolved around getting muddy, climbing mountains and wild swimming. However, the Bolton Ironman in 2018 was a signifant turning point in my life. Completing this event made me consider my life choices, and it was then I made the decision to turn a hobby into a career.

Since Bolton I have gone back to school so to say. I dusted off my degree in Sports and Coaching from Oxford Brookes University (class of 2015) and have since earned:

  • NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Level 2 Gym Instructing
  • NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Level 3 Personal Training
  • NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Level 4 Youth Exercise Specialist

Now that I am qualified to teach clients of all ages, I don’t plan on stopping there. I’m eager to learn and along the way I want to change the lives of as many people as I can, through fitness.

Personal sporting challenges beckon also. This coming April I will be running 250 miles in 8 days from South to North Wales and in September 2021 I am taking part in Ironman Wales.

Pushing my limits is my driving force, and I want to instil that confidence, drive and satisfaction of crossing the finish line in as many people as I possibly can.
